Las Vegas, Nevada - (July 2, 2009) — Speaking to the leaders of Northwest Native American tribes, Jon Sparer, co-founder of YWS America, moderated a discussion on "Reinventing your Casino and Resort Facilities" at the Pier Conference Group's Northwest Native American Economic Development Conference held at Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, Washington earlier this month. Using knowledge gained from years of experience in the field of leisure design and architecture, Sparer spoke on the necessity to create a master plan when renovating current facilities as well as relayed essential techniques to diversify the design and amenities. Also, he detailed the need to be the pioneer of trends, whether the trends are cultural, architectural or design related. "When hotel, resort, or gaming operators feel the need to change their existing property, they often feel overwhelmed by what direction to take," said Sparer.
